William H. Rosenblatt, MD, President

Dr. Rosenblatt is Professor of Anesthesiology, Yale University School of Medicine, the Founder of REMEDY, its volunteer Medical Director, and primary author of the seminal articles on recovery, published by the Journal of the American Medical Association and others. Dr. Rosenblatt has been the recipient of multiple awards for his work with REMEDY, including the Rolex Award for Enterprise in Science and Invention given by the Rolex Foundation in 1996.
David G. Silverman, MD, Vice President

Dr. Silverman is Professor of Anesthesiology and Director of Clinical Research, Department of Anesthesiology, Yale University School of Medicine. He is also the Medical Director for the Yale - New Haven Hospital Pre-Admission Center. Dr. Silverman is a highly accomplished investigator with over 70 publications in major medical journals, and numerous grant-funded studies; and is the co-author of the seminal articles on recovery, published in the Journal of the American Medical Association and others.
Chris Ariyan, MPH, Director

Chris has 22 years of experience in the healthcare industry across the provider, payer, and pharmaceutical sectors. He is currently Senior Director, Group Leader, Specialty Access Solutions (SAS) at Pfizer's NYHQ. He began his career back in 1992 as the Executive Director of REMEDY. In 2014, Chris is now part of Pfizer�s U.S. Payer & Channel Access platform, where his SAS team is responsible for Pfizer�s full portfolio of Specialty Pharmacy interactions as well as national payer access for the Oncology portfolio.

Mary Koto, PhD, Director

Mary Koto, PhD, has served as an advisor to REMEDY for more than one year and joined the Board as a Director in 2006. Dr. Koto has worked for more than 20 years in marketing, strategic planning, and operations in the medical industry. most recently, Mary served as Vice President of marketing for Accumetrics, a privately-held cardiovascular diagnostics company. Prior to that, as Vice President at LMA North America, she headed marketing and operations and helped to launch two major airway devices which have influenced standards of care world-wide. During her years there, Mary was responsible for LMA-NA becoming a significant REMEDY corporate supporter�one of our earliest. Her most important contribution to REMEDY to date was her leading role in the annual staff retreat. At her own expense, Mary traveled from her home in San Diego to meet with the staff for a one-day session during which the REMEDY mission was focused and strengthened. Mary has a BA and MBA from Stanford University and a PhD in Biology from Yale.
