The prestigious Rolex Award for Enterprise was bestowed on Dr. William H. Rosenblatt in May 1996, for his work on REMEDY. The five winners of this award (from an initial field of 2300) received extensive international media attention. Based on this announcement, REMEDY received requests for information from many US hospitals as well as facilities in Japan, West Africa, Mexico, France, Switzerland, India, Pakistan, Cameroon, Kenya, Canada, Germany, Grenada, The Netherlands, Romania, The Philippines, and the Ivory Coast.
Cost-effectiveness Award, from Anesthesiology News (sponsored by an educational grant from Stuart Pharmaceuticals) for achievement in cost-effectiveness in the operating room. Given to REMEDY in April, 1994.
Green Ribbon Award, New Haven Chamber of Commerce, Committee on Environmental Issues. �Current Innovations Award� June 4, 1992.
The Twenty-first Alaska State Legislature, official citation honoring REMEDY in 1999, for the introduction of the program to hospitals throughout the state.
